Webflow website development

We build and rebuild Webflow sites: a well-planned CMS collection structure, interactions that don’t slow the page, lossless content migration and technical SEO. Webflow fits when the site must look exactly like the design and your marketing team wants to edit it without a developer for every change.

When to choose Webflow

  • Design and motion matter as much as features
  • Marketing wants to publish pages and posts without a developer
  • Your content fits collections: news, reports, events, programmes, team
  • You’d rather not deal with hosting, updates and plugins
  • The site is a brand showcase, not a complex application

When another platform fits better

  • You need a full online store with complex shipping and discounts — Shopify or WooCommerce fit better
  • You need server-side logic: accounts, calculations, heavy integrations — Next.js fits better
  • A very large content volume that hits the CMS limits of your plan
  • Full control over hosting and code is a must

What Webflow is

Webflow is a visual development platform: you build the site from HTML elements and CSS classes in an editor rather than from a page builder’s pre-made blocks. That is its main strength — the output code is clean, and a design can be reproduced almost pixel for pixel, interactions included. Hosting, SSL and updates are handled by the platform, and the built-in CMS stores repeating content in collections: articles, case studies, events, people.

Strengths

  • No design compromises. Complex grids, scroll-triggered interactions and transitions are built with native tools, without heavy libraries.
  • A CMS marketers like. Every new collection item automatically gets its own page from a template.
  • A solid SEO foundation. Meta tags, sitemap, redirects, clean URLs and indexing controls are all in the settings.
  • Little maintenance. No plugins to update and no server to go down.

Limitations

  • No custom server code. Calculations, user accounts and complex integrations have to live in separate services or automations.
  • CMS limits depend on the plan: the number of items and collections is capped, so the data structure has to be planned up front.
  • Webflow e-commerce suits a small range; serious e-commerce logic belongs on other platforms.
  • Pricing: you pay for a site plan and a workspace plan, and localisation is an add-on.

How we work with Webflow

The most common problem in Webflow sites that reach us isn’t design — it’s the data structure. For a policy institute we rebuilt the CMS: programmes, calendars and reports that had lived in one overloaded collection were split into separate, linked collections. The data was migrated without loss and verified with the client before the switch.

For a media company portal the challenge was interactivity without losing speed. We optimised video previews so they don’t drag the page down, and every release ships as a Webflow deployment package with a backup of the previous version, so any change can be rolled back.

We connect Webflow forms to your CRM, a Telegram team chat or e-mail through webhooks and automations, so enquiries don’t just sit in the built-in form list.

How we launch a Webflow site

  1. Structure and collections — what stays static, what lives in the CMS and how collections reference each other.
  2. A class-based design system so new pages are assembled from ready components.
  3. Build and interactions, tested on phones and slow connections.
  4. SEO before launch: collection meta templates, redirects, sitemap, Search Console.
  5. Team training on adding items and pages without breaking the layout.

Migrating to and from Webflow

To Webflow teams move from WordPress or site builders when they want more design control and less maintenance. The key to such a move is designing the collections first and only then migrating data — exactly how we approached the policy institute. We keep old URLs or set up 301 redirects, and meta tags move together with the pages.

Away from Webflow sites go when they need server-side logic, a large store or more content than the plan allows. Then we move the content to WordPress or build a Next.js application. Webflow lets you export code, but dynamic collection content has to be migrated separately.

What to check before and after the move so you keep your Google traffic is in our site migration checklist for keeping your rankings.

Send us your site’s URL and we will tell you whether a move is worth it and what it would cost.

FAQ

FAQ

How much does a Webflow site cost?

A website or redesign starts at €1,200 and a landing page at €500. Webflow’s site plan is billed separately; we will help you pick the right one before we start.

Can our marketing team edit the site?

Yes. Copy, images and collection items — articles, events, reports — are edited in the Webflow editor without a developer.

Is Webflow good for SEO?

The technical foundation is strong: clean code, meta tags, sitemap, redirects. Results depend on page structure and content, which we set up during the build.

Can Webflow run an online store?

A small one, yes. For a large catalogue, complex shipping or advanced discounts we recommend Shopify or WooCommerce.

How do Webflow forms get into our CRM?

Via webhooks or automation services: each submission goes straight to your CRM, chat or inbox. Automation projects start at €800.

What if a release breaks something?

We keep a backup of every version before publishing, so a change can be rolled back quickly.
